Increased worldwide internet access has led to a more sophisticated understanding of the wine industry and product value resulting in the definition of wine quality shifting more to the consumer. The sensory aspect of a wine is no longer the only component of quality. External factors, such as the bottle and label design as well as packaging, are all important to the modern consumer.
Ramko has recognized the need for the wine industry to embrace this new era and while working closely with a number of wine yards globally, we have developed a unique range of wine packaging. This range is constantly evolving and sees a number of new designs launched each quarter. Many of these can be easily adapted for spirits as well as oil or vinegar.
When designing wine packaging, we believe in understanding the ethos behind each wine and working with the brand managers and wine makers to use structure, material and print design to communicate the character of each wine to the end consumer. Using the packaging in this way, ensures wines can be well received in new wine consuming markets such as China, Russia, Africa and adds value for the consumer especially as wine is often used as a gift.
