The fully automated R50 Elastic Staple fastening system was specially designed to handle small stackable retail wares such as keys or carabiners. The automated label and product magazines feed the product and display cards to the VNS (Variable Needle System) module, which shoots an elastic fastener (Elastic Staple) over the product and through the display card thereby attaching the product tightly to the card. The entire process is carried out automatically thus achieving utmost packaging efficiency. The fastened products are then fed via conveyor to a sorting conveyor, which sorts the products into groups as desired. The packaging parameters and components can be individually adjusted and monitored through the user-friendly graphical display.
