The R15 Elastic Staple Fastening System incorporates an automatic display card feeder, which feeds and folds a display card into position to be attached around a manually fed product (such as floor mats). When in position, the Variable Needle System (VNS) module is activated and attaches an Elastic Staple through the card and product thus binding the two together (see Elastic Staple for further details). Cycle time to feed a card for attachment is approx. 2.5 seconds. This enables up to 24 pieces per minute to be attached (depending on operator experience). The machine is capable of attaching the following display card types: Flat Cards, Folded Header Cards, Rider Cards and textile.
