With the Extra Heavy Duty Automotive Fastening System, Pfannenstiel Pro-Projekt GmbH and Ramko GmbH introduce a new and innovative fastening solution: Layers of different textile and foam materials can be quickly and permanently bonded by shooting an extra-strong nylon fastener through the layers in an automated process.
Adhesives in particular can now be finally eliminated from the production environment and the related manual processes can now be automated. This will save time and costs and additionally lead to a cleaner work space.
Furthermore, the typical crackling noises associated with gluing foam can be completely avoided by using this system.
As a positive side-effect, strict recycling regulations are also alleviated by using the EHD Automotive Fastening System because the layers can be easily separated again by simply severing the fastener. This, for example, alleviates the implementation of the restrictive old car regulation.
